Let me set some healthy expectations;

I have no godly idea what I’m doing and I have the emotional fortitude of a tidepod in a water park.

For I am Pobochi, the ineffectual and fluffy dog piloting the body of a neurodivergent queer man in his late 30s, and for reasons I don’t understand you have found your way to my blog.

Now, my previous Therapist suggested that I begin writing publicly, not only because it is a healthy creative outlet while multiple apocalypses are in play outside, but because my ramshackle attempts to make sense of the world around me might end up being useful to someone out there.

In truth, I believe this path will somehow end in me being set on fire at some point, but that was a non-zero in any case, so what the hell.

Since the world of 2024 is, to be frank, an everlasting shit-show I will attempt to keep the tone light, and heaven willing, humorous around here. As I also believe in being honest and violently hate toxic positivity, I fear I may fail constantly in this regard, and so I’d like to apologize in advance.

I will talk about all kinds of nonsense here. Stories I really enjoy, kafkaesque experiences with American Office culture, charming videogames, traumatic school memories, and just basically what it’s like to navigate the world without knowing you’re Autistic, ADHD, and Pansexual until waaaaaaay after you could have really used that knowledge.

I don’t know if this blog will be of use to you. Hopefully at least it will help you pass the time waiting in line for a cookie or something. If I am very, very lucky, someone may find something familiar in what I say here, and through a different map then what they were provided, may find themselves… hopefully… on a kinder path then they were previously on.

However, I do have one last bit of housekeeping that I cannot make funny.

I reject fascism, Racism, capitalism, white Christian nationalism, and whatever the hell else the Far Right is currently spouting in the United States. If you have ever voted for Donald Trump, you will not enjoy your time here, and I will not endeavor to change that.
